Possessions #5 - My Cell Phone.
I have only had 4 cell phones in my life, and I’ve never lost one.
I bought this one because I thought I had lost my previous one, which I had for 2 years. I looked everywhere it could logically be hiding, no luck. What I was most devastated about losing wasn’t the numbers, but the texts. I always save important texts. You could read an important chapter in the story of my life by reading those text.
After three days of looking, I gave up, drove to Fort Worth, and got myself the same model phone I’d lost. Except the good news about this phone was that I could make my own wallpaper and ringtones and even set my own alarm.
When I got back to my apartment, I found my old phone in the back corner, underneath my bed, with my phone on silent. I still have no idea how it got there or why it was on silent, but I’m glad I got all those texts back.
